Fat and Sad...

So. among the many reasons I HATE having my boys gone, the most recent of all the reasons is that I have put on weight. I think it's a combination of depression eating and not realizing how active you are all day with a 4 year old, a 3 year old and 1 year old. I don't know what to do because I can't possibly get that kind of aerobic exercise during the day without spending time in the gym and let's face it I hate going to the gym. This is like a vicious cycle, I'm sad because I miss my babies sooo bad so I eat and than I look in the mirror and hate how I look so I stay in and than I gain more weight and on and on...I HATE this, I HATE missing the boys like this, I HATE not being a mom, and I am soooo excited to pick my babies up this Friday for Knott's!!!

They gave him the boot...

Ethan hurt his foot while running with the double stroller at the Air Show almost two months ago. He complains about the pain so frequently that we went in to have it re x-rayed today and they found that it should have been casted when he hurt it way back in August. So they gave him the option of a hard cast or a boot and of course he chose the boot, here he is trying to be sexy with what he calls his robo-leg.

The boys new house in Arizona

The boys are going through a lot of fun changes, they are just about to make a big move to Arizona with their dad. They are all set to move in in November now that their new houses is officially theirs! I love this pic because it's one of very few pics I have seen of the boys recently! I miss them sooo much but am glad to see that they are happy and doing well.

The Art of Intelligence...

Ethan and I were so excited when we decided to invest in a new mattress set, one that would finally allow Ethan to sleep with his feet on the bed. I, hesitantly, let Ethan run to Bed Bath and Beyond to pick out a sheet and comforter set, in my previously appointed color theme. We decided that William would need a nap and he and I would stay home and nap on the new bed. Well I apparently was more tired than he was and fell quickly to sleep, only to wake up to a little art project he had been working on for the last twenty minutes. William had colored our mattress in the most vibrant orange permanent marker he could get his little hands on. Needless to say I was not thrilled, this may have been the most expensive thing we have bought and all in money from our own account, soo exciting. With the boys being away I have found some new appreciation for Will's art work...I was noticing how it was really smart that he tried to fill in all the circles. Granted he's only 18 mos so I think it shows intelligence that he thought up a strategy for placing the vibrant color. Man that boy amazes me and maybe someday I can sell my mattress for more than we payed for it because it will be the early works of the famous William Wagstaff.

It's two stories and the upstairs has the Master bedroom, the boys room (we tried separating them into their own rooms but they hated it), a guest room, and a nursery for future use...We love love love our new house it's perfect!!!

So the big, bad, Airmen has finally graduated and here is my Operational Badge. It is an Eagle with a globe in it's talons. Very Cool. I am now part of the operational Air Force and I also get to wear my A1C stripes.

Congratulations Ethan, you have worked so hard and sacrificed so much and now you get to see the rewards of that!! Happy Graduation and Promotion Day! This is something that you have accomplished all on your own and you should be very proud of that!! I am so proud of you and appreciative of all you do for our family...I know this was a difficult time for you and you kept yourself going and motivated and YOU did it...CONGRATULATIONS from the bottom of my heart!
